I use an iPad2 and never had this problem prior to updating to IOS 8 from IOS 7.

I don't have this problem with the UHH page, but I do have it with other pages especially links from the MyYahoo page.
I have an iPad Air, BTW.
I'm pretty sure it's from one of the updates since i don't remember it happening when I first got my iPad.

It's annoying but I can deal with it. If enough users have this problem and complain, I'm sure it will be fixed. Maybe in iOS 15.

A correction...sort of. Sometimes a link from UHH, as well as other sites, will do the same thing, but it hasn't happened with UHH yet at least that I can remember.
Do you get the "This page has encountered an error and has been reloaded" message?

Yes I do, several times in 30-45 min session.

Well, as I said, it's probably in the new iOS updates.
I'm going to try to see if I can tell this to Apple.

Another problem I have...if I hold my finger down on a page too long, the page blanks, but returns when I lift my finger off the screen. Do you get that, too?

Don't have access to my iPad2 right now but on a 4s iPhone if I hold a page I get an option to copy the page but it never blanks out

I don't have the blanking out problem on my iPhone 6, and I tested it out again on my iPad Air. That's only an intermittent problem. Doesn't happen all the time.

I logged into the Apple Community Forum and posed my two problems and asked how to submit the info to Apple. Haven't hear back yet.

I do UHH on an iPad 2 all the time. I started having the reload problem after a recent update. I had always used Safari but switched to the Google app and that solved the problem for me.

I do too. I don't trust Google. They have admitted that they track users whereas I don't think Safari does.
I can't wait until Firefox becomes an iOS App.

I thought I had gotten an email from Firefox stating that they are working on it.
I love Firefox. It's the only browser I can use that allows add one to block cookies and other stuff. I do use Opera on my PC as well, but only because some web pages don't load properly because I have the add ons blocking stuff that prevents cookies and other stuff from loading.
