Your C&C is welcome.

My comments washed away in the edit so here goes again - really lovely rendition here, and great illustration of actively using detailed suggestions to help create a new version of an image that is way more appealing than the first one. This one is so much stronger - the great use of the repeating verticals and arches, the elimination of the condo buildings, the expansion of the dramatic sky. The whole image is in fine balance. You've really brought it to life, a real pleasure to study in detail.

I love this version! I've never seen the bridge in person, now I want to visit there. I agree with everything Minnie said (and I may have said in the other topic :) )

I think this is a much stronger composition Jo.
It does away with the distracting element of the condos and lets the bridge lead in better.
I think the bridge benefits from the height as well.
It is good to see that you worked the scene a bit and took both landscape and portrait versions.
I do find the red tank a distraction and would tone that down a bit, or maybe even magic it away altogether.
This pic does highlight the inadequacies of ND grads in some situations. In this image it may have been better to take two images and do a blend, or to ETTR and selectively darken the image.
As it is, where the bridge has been darkened towards the top just doesn't quite look right.

Thanks for the input, I get down there about once a week and will try some other variations.
Gosh as for getting rid of that red tower, however is anyone going to follow that beacon to that particular brewery and get their beer ration:)??
Thank you for the feedback and to all at this site who contribute to the learning atmosphere.
You are right about the darkness at top o bridge, I can tone that up a bit.

It really needed the whole of the big arch.
