Spider on My Wall

He was such a willing subject just sitting there on the wall for hours I decided to shoot him.
Canon T2i Camera at ISO 400, Canon 100mm Macro Lens, 1/125 sec at f/5.6. camera pop-up flash
1:1 @ approximately 6" Working Distance. Processed in Lightroom, Topaz InFocus, & Detail3

Thank you for looking in LRF, no he was at eye level and this was the only angle I could get but the eyes, all 4, came in pretty nicely. I really like your "Feather stacks". Great job.

You needn't get on a ladder to get face shots of them. simply make them move by forcing them lower on the wall. I get spiders in the bathtub all the time (much to my wife's chagrin)and pester them until they get in a decent pose for me...

Thank you all for your concerns for my safety. I guess I like to leave nature alone and get the shots I can with what I have.

Awww come on, poke the spiders.. if you make them mad enough they might look you up at night for a love bite. ;) Nice shots Craig. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Thank you Jim. He was an awesome subject he never moved the whole time I was banging and bumping around him and setting up the ladder.
