I have no idea what the first guy is. The captures are not very good because it was early and the light was bad. The squirrel was early as well. The rest were after the light got better. This is my first Blue Jay. They are very skittish and tough to capture. The Cardinal is not as good as yesterday's but still worth keeping. All taken with the T4i and the 70-300 lens.

Can anyone ID this one for me?

Thank you for looking and commenting. I have spent a lot of time watching and taken hundreds of pictures just to get the few I finally feel comfortable posting here. I am very critical of my own work. Feeding them close to the house works wonders.

Thank you BabyNurse for looking and for the nice comments. I capture these guys through my back door window.

The squirrel in the second shot is my favorite. Back yard birds, squirrels, and other familiar critters usually do not stay still longer enough to get that perfect up-close image, but your patience has worked fine.
