I recently installed NIK Pro 2 program and was having some success with it. For reasons I can't figure out, now when I want to edit a photo using the HDR Pro 2 program in LR5 and click on "edit in" like before , I get the following choices: Analog Efex Pro 2, Color Efex Pro 4, Dfine 2, Sharpener Pro 3 Raw, Sharpener Pro 3 Out put sharpener, Silver Efex Pro2, and Viveca 2 as choices for which sub-program from Nik I can use. Everything is there as before EXCEPT the sub program I want to use, the Nik Pro2 HDR doesn't come up as an option. I have re-installed the Nik program with no luck. I am using Imac and LR5.
Any advice would be appreciated.
For HDR Effects you use Export, not Edit In. Right click, pick Export and it should show up in the menu.
Oh my god! I forgot.......ok thank you, but why are all the other sub-programs i mentioned above, which came with the Nik Pro2 come up under "edit' and not under "export"?

It may be that in HDR you are working with more than one image so they are exported to Nik then brought back as one image.
The others you are editing just one image...

If you choose. but they would have to change things if you choose 2 images.. so if you use 1 you edit and if you choose 2 or more you export... It would make sense to export no matter how many you choose
