I love an afternoon at the ballpark. Within 5 miles of home;
access to wherever I want to be! Great variety to choose from.
The simple grace of a player running, the challenge between the ball & the player,
the support of teammates for a player, the bike riders in the park,

I am a Baseball nut so I love these. This summer we are going on another trip to take in 5 more parks on my quest to see them all! Ah the pitching duals, defense, power, running, and bunting. then to top it off you get lost in the moment and the chances to get great photos. WOW.

This pitcher needs a pitching coach real quick. He is in terrible fielding position, just a matter of time before a line drive will end his career. I have NEVER seen anything so terrible and I watched hundreds of games at college level and below.

Nice series. Just what I need as I look out on all this snow. I agree the pitcher's delivery is dangerous. I also notice that pitcher and batter seem to be wearing the same uniform. Is this practice? College team?

Yes, Dennis. Pictures from last week's intrasquad games. The team is Southeast Missouri State Univ. in Cape Girardeau. The season is to begin at home Friday. "Weather permitting!" With a forecast low of 7 on Sat. morn, hope they don't play the entire 4-game series. Be reasonable; please!!

This interests me because the town next to mine has a team in a summer collegiate league and I'm a season ticket holder. I follow many of our former players who are now in the pros, even a few in the major leagues.
