I thought it might be interesting and even a little entertaining to learn how you all came up with your user names for UHH. Some are rather obvious others not so much. Here’s how mine originated.
In my younger (much younger) days I was a baseball player. One of my first coaches used a game called “Pepper” to teach us fundamentals. I loved playing it so much that I’d get pi$$ed if I couldn’t find anyone to play after practice. One day the coach saw me coming and commented to one of the guys “here comes Pepper”. It stuck and I’ve been called Pepper for 50 years.

I was a big Jack London fan as a kid and developed a fascination with wolves. When Usenet and later the WWW came around I needed a screen name and it's been Lupine most of the time.

Some of the dept. personnel call me the photo man when I show up at calls or the station or at functions so that is why I chose guy to make it a little more different but still use part of what I am called.

MWAC - Mom With A Camera. It's what I am. I actually took the "name" because I belonged to another photography forum when I first started trying really trying to learn about photography. When I posted a photo I thought I nailed, a poster tore it apart (not one kind, positive or thing was said) he finished his post by saying "you never will anything more than Just a Mom With A Camera."

He meant it as a derogatory term, if you spend any time on any photography forum will show the term is thrown around to diminish one's ability as a photographer. I took the name to remind myself that I can do anything I set my mind too and my value is not placed on what others think of me.

Mine is the same as my aol username. Back when I got it I liked to drink hot tea and I was 8 years old. And so I have kept it all of these years. It continues to be my aol username and email address and will be for who knows how long.

not difficult to figure out my screenname. Frank S is my all time favorite entertainer. (elvis is #2, and at #3 the real voice of the american working man Johnny Cash) i loved his loyalty to his friends, his role in from here to eternity, and the catalog of great songs which are as timeless forever. he lead his life on his terms thus the song written for him by paul anka "My Way"

At my train club my nick name is Dirty Jew and a few others I can’t print here.
I write Werewolf / Vampire screenplays. And I liked the movie Xanadu. We were in production for one of my first screenplays and there was a need to have a password to enter the production companies computers, so dietxanadu just seem right

Being that I was in the film business I guess someone else was using the DJ nick name.

Well me... Biker Chic seems as simple as I am a female motorcycle rider.

In reality, it started as my attempt at starting my own business. I wanted to sell clothing for women who ride. At the time I started riding most of the clothing for us was ugly, and manish, or made for little girls; and I am a little fluffier than a size 2 ( you gotta be when your bike weighs 850lbs).

My business name was Biker Chic'(pronounced sheek) because I wanted to bring style and functional riding clothing to women. Sadly, the recession and my idea came about at the same time so I was forced to take a full time job in an office just to pay the bills. I keep the name just because I still think I have a good idea. My catch phrase was ~" I may ride like one of the guys but I don't have to dress like one"~
