I sure I know what to expect here.
But is this over the top political correctness.
Trying to redefine the differences between men
and women. Or am I truly over reacting?
This was an add run during the Super Bowl.

The Obummer administration has been practicing that very same thing for years.
Whine and cry until they get what they want. If that doesn't work, switch to lying about the opposition to your followers to justify doing what you want anyway.

There is no question that women/girls have made great strides by not accepting that they must behave "like a girl". That is unquestionably good for society.

What is not good is the undisputed fact that a large number of males have been pushed by society to behavior more "like a girl". That has led them to avoid college and loving relationships with the opposite sex.

I cannot determine if the net gain to society has been a plus.

I saw that ad too and didn't like it. In my experience most girls do throw and run with a feminine touch. That is not to disparage them at all. It is what it is.

In the past few years I have seen many television commercials that tend to show men as complete idiots having no idea how to cook, clean house etc. Why isn't there the same outcry for fairness to men? I suspect it is the Liberals trying to come out once again for making women equal to men. If only they could realize that women have always been equal to men. I have never seen anyone stop a woman from doing what she wanted to do even if it was traditionally a man's sport or profession. My complaint is changing the rules to make it easier for the woman to compete or do the job.

I see Liberals recently who are disparaging a female who is into the shooting sports. Wouldn't one think every person should celebrate the diversity of learning and being interested in various sports themes rather than just the normally accepted running and throwing sports? It is amazing how some people are tolerant about things they like but are intolerant about other things.

It comes from trying to put everyone in the same little box.
You can't be better or different than the other person because it makes them feel inadequate and may hurt their feelings.

WTF

The ad ain't about politics. Its about stereotypes and what they can do to an adolescents girl's self confidence.

I hope some women chime in on this one.

For me its just let kids be. We figured it out along the
way. Men and women are mentally and physically different.

I just saw it as them trying to make girls equal to boy physically.
