Thanks for looking. No, I found it on my tomato plants, caught it in a jar and brought it inside. Then, I got a small vase that had some straw flowers in it and released the mantis on them. It was very calm and provided me with several different poses. I used a small flashlight to help light him/her up because I was very close to him/her, since I was using extension tubes.
