Interesting picture RH. last year I went to the home of the man who started shell all those years ago. Apparently his father was a Jewish immigrant who had a shop in London selling sea shells, and when his sons took over the business the, being adventurous, and seeing the advance in motoring and the need for petroleum products started a company importing the stuff, and not quite knowing what to call the new company decided on there fathers original business in shells, and so the SHELL petroleum company was borne.
