I received my new Viltrox Sony E-mount to Canon EOS adapter and this is a test shot I did. Focus is very SLOW - maybe one step up from manually focusing - but it does control the diaphram and report EXIF data. - and I do have focus peaking for manual focus - which is OK.

ISO 400, Canon 70-200 f4 W/Tamron SP 1.4X ( effective 280mm) - f8 from bodypod. My standard PP as JPEG in Elements 9.

This is full resolution, full frame - no cropping.

Yeah, this photo is pure crap. With a teleconverter yet. Lol. Seriously, it looks real good! How much is was the Viltrox adapter, if I may ask? I know the Sony goes for around $350.00.

Those a6000's are something else, aren't they? I am actually thinking of one. I do have a lot of full frame A mount lenses. I too will need an adapter.

Thanks tainkc ! The Viltrox was $105 - there are better?/more expensive ones. I would have an A6000 if I could afford it ! ......but the 3000 is almost as good @ 1/2 price.

Wow! I messed up. I must be tired. I thought your title said a6000. That is even better that you did this with an a3000! I really went over your photo. I supersized the download and checked the bird out all over. I was really amazed that it was so clear considering that you were using a teleconverter.

Very very nice shot! Great detail and color in the download. Nice of him to wait while you focused. Must be a bit of a hassle to wait but the result is great!
