I took these at Broome's Head the other day. It was a lesson well learned, as it was around midday & sunny (not a good time for photography). I took many photos but these are about the only ones I could salvage. Please download for better details.

For some reason, UHH won't let me upload more than 3 on my original post. Here are two more.

These are excellent sets, those Pelicans make the gulls look titchy! My favourite is #2 in the first set.  :-)

Nice photos.

FYI, after loading the first 3 photos, you can EDIT and add more. It took me a couple of tries before I caught on to the program.

Keep it up. Thanks for sharing.

Same thing happened to me last week when I tried to post more than 3. Mid day or not, these are super enjoyable, Earl. I especially like the second one with the gull photo bomb. :-D

I beg to differ. EDIT only allows you to change the text (not add more pics). To add more pics, you click on 'Add new attachment'. I have been doing this for years & have only had issues in the last week. I can select my pic & press 'Send'. The little progress wheel spins for a few seconds & then stops, indicating that the operation has been aborted. I believe some others are having the same problem.

Terrific, enjoyable series, Earl. I never thought about the size difference with other species. #2 makes me think of a teacher and her 5-year old students :)

Great series! Loved them all. Nice that they compose so well for you. Laughed out loud when that gull flew in and said, "Hey! Take me! Take me!" What a hoot!

Their eyes appear to be painted on! Thanks for allowing us the privilege of viewing some of the differences between your pelicans and ours!
