CHALLENGE - JAN. 29 - 31 - BLACK & WHITE +1 IF YOU WISH!
This challenge is pretty simple. Lets do some black and whites and if you wish you can add 1 color to it. This would mean you would turn a color picture to black and white and then bring one of the colors back in...through layers. So you have a choice of taking a picture in B&W or taking one of your color pictures and converting it. Lets just have some fun.
I could give you links to show you how to convert color to B&W...but I will leave it up to you if you want to do a search... Me... I just click on "convert to black and white" and Elements gives you choices of landscape, portrait, etc. After I convert I go back in and work with brightness and contrast and also I do a levels adjustment to emphasize the black and white contrast.
If anyone has a link or program that they know converts well, please let us all know.
Namwife will most likely be peeking in to see how we are doing, so say hi! She is now home and doing o.k. When she is feeling better, she can give us more details if she wishes. She will be able to do her "Barns" challenge later! She is looking forward to it!
Have some fun with this challenge everyone!

Beautiful treatment of the pampas grass. The nik silver really accentuates it's gracefulness .
Nice fits the challenge perfectly and great outhouse.
