GREAT CAPTURE! I see a little bit of the tail in your image in the post, but it's more evident in the download. I was out with binox a few nights ago (boy was it cold) but I onjly saw a bright object in the general direction. It must have been Lovejoy but the binox I was using weren't tripod mounted so I relly couldn't tell.
Yes I did, I get a an Astronomy email notice everyday about current and upcoming Astro events. Plus I belong to a club, VAAS, at the Vandenberg AFB. One member is a Professor at the local collage, another built all of the Telescopes at the Air Base. Craig
