Went into Norfolk early this morning hoping to catch some tail lights, but not a lot of traffic (Saturday, duh!). Did get to see the light rail Norfolk Tide roll by and then headed to the Chrysler Museum.

Great photos.

Have not been to the museum or seen the rail system, but I have enjoyed the Azalea Festival and Harbor Fest several times while at NAS Norfolk in the 80's.

Thanks for sharing.

And thank you for looking. They've combined the air station with NOB so now it's just Norfolk Naval Station. There's still Oceana for the jets.

Yes, I'm aware that the Navy did that, but I didn't!

Are you familiar with the Captain's Table Restaurant on Atlantic Ave.? At one I time, it was the best seafood place I'd ever been to. The first time I was there (1979 I think), only the oyster bar portion was open, the rest was still being completed.

I don't know the place. Funny, I was just on Atlantic today hoping to get some good pix at Rudee Inlet. Nowadays, there are a lot of good restaurants aways from the oceanfront.
