Took this picture 'cause I luv to do eagles but also to show the quality ( or lack of quality ) on a Sigma lens. This pic was taken with their 300-800mm zoom on a tripod. There aren''t too many of us that can hand hold a 15 lb lens and camera combination. I certainly can't. To help see the eagle I cropped and dodged out some bothersome twigs. There weren't too many opportunities to move around so as not to have them in the way. Anyway, both the uncropped and of course cropped versions are here for your enjoyment. ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/1250, 501mm
