Vicki, I think you met the challenge very well! They are all well composed along with the colors, textures and lighting. Even though we have all seen hundreds of spider web photos, I find this one to be one of the most compelling. Excellent!
Thanks so much Tom. I appreciate the thoughtful reply and compliments.
Terrific set Vicky, you captured the atmosphere beautifully,

Hiking on a foggy morning has it's own challenges in terms of changing light. I like the softness at times, and this particular area was kind of a mixed bag. One minute there was fairly good light, then it was gone. It certainly was interesting and challenging.
Vicki, I can always tell that the sailor is not far off when I see photos like number one and wish I could be out on the water. I love the subdued colors and the vista of your first image.

This is a wetlands area which is almost at sea level. It drains into the Petaluma river a short distance away and subsequently into San Francisco Bay. You are correct in assuming boating options are not far from here but this water is extremely shallow. Thanks so much for taking time to look and comment Bob.
Wow very cool, I love the spider web that is the kind of stuff I look for.
There were a lot of different kinds of dew enhanced spider webs, but I didn't think my shots of them were quite as sharp or interesting as this rather cliched version. I'm glad you enjoyed these. Thanks for stopping by.
If you come this way again, I'll have to take you to this area. It's an easy, level stroll with lots of photo ops - wooded areas, grasslands, and water.
