Excellent, Vicki. Looks like there was a stiff breeze blowing right up his tail. :D
There must have been a pretty good breeze, but I wasn't aware of it. Usually the big Tam floats all over the place when it's the least bit windy, and I was only using the car as a support rather than the tripod. I should have looked a bit like Rod Stewart by the time I was through trying to get a shot but must have been protected by the car.
Thanks Earl.

Ya know, DOOK, I just hated that when I was in the outhouse on a cold winters night in Wyoming....
(You just ain't lived until you've bared it in an outhouse at 40 below.) :-(
Some of us will just have to take your word for it. :-D

Excellent photo. It fits your title perfectly.

Thanks so much Lensman. I've been struggling with egrets far too long. They're tough to get right, and they leave if you get close enough for a decent shot.
I think your struggle is over. This is a fab shot that is more interesting than a simple portrait of an Egret.

Egrets still elude me. I find them tough to capture, but this one was better than most I've gotten. Wish he had stayed a little longer and had tolerated my attempt to get closer. It is what it is.
They like to play hard to get. :) Nice capture and great patience.
Great catch. I love the pose.
It isn't often one sees a hungover egret, so good job picking up on this one!
A beautiful shot!!! As a suggestions, could you dodge around his face a bit to brighten this up, maybe?

Well, Vicki... What "It is" is simply an excellent shot. Very nice!
Somehow we need to teach them, what all ladies know, that a lady always looks best facing the wind. Or, if he is a guy, he just doesn't care. Nice shot.

What it is Vickie is beautiful; this one is a great candidate for a sketch. Love it.
