You will find the answer through that search.
And the answer will be

Although it is a Nikon article, a recent announcement by Canon says the same thing...
I have a new $900 camera. It was purchased for me as a Christmas present. I've had it 29 days and have discovered an anomaly or issue that is hard to verify. Basically, the battery seems to slowly discharge with the camera off.
The online merchant that sold it to my wife is insisting I return it for an exchange with them paying the shipping cost. Service attitude is stellar.
Buying cameras on the Web is an excellent and safe experience if your have a good merchant.
The seller I am talking about is B&H in New York.

That is a BIG "IF", but as others here have said, there are four major online sellers that have stellar reputations. I took a business class one time where the key point was summed up: "It is much easier to keep an existing customer than to get a new customer, and many businesses that don't remember that will fail". The "big four" seem to remember to take care of their customers - and the result is repeat business and people on forums like this sharing their good experience.

Yep, limit your online purchases to the big guys who won't disappoint you after your purchase and always remember if the price seems to be to good to be true it probably is... ;)
It the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I have not heard anything positive about them. Adorama, B&H, Cameta, and KEH all have excellent customer service, have similar pricing, and get great support here by UHH friends.
Bought my D7100 with some lenses and have excellent service from the dealer and the product. Go for it.

Amazon often is the storefront for other vendors. Their relationship with Amazon often provides the buyer with another level of protection. Other benefits may be offered as well - I bought my last camera from Canon's Amazon storefront - because through Amazon at that time they were offering a 4% credit towards a lens.
I like BH Photo. FAST shipping, good prices.
