Canon Eos M - which lens for a trip?

Hi fellow hogs,

I'm going to Plovdiv, Bulgaria next month and I'm planning to take the Eos M with me instead of my Olympus EP5.
I have the 22mm kit lens and want a zoom that I have to buy. I cannot make a decision between the native mount Tamron 18-200 and the Canon 18-135 STM that I can mount with the adapter.

Between these two which do you suggest for faster AF, IQ and portability (even if I think this will not be a problem).
I think one major drawback for the Tamron is it's value if I want to sell in the future. Here in Italy it is next to none.

Hello elandel.
I think you will be ok with the 18-135mm STM.

I agree with RichardSM, most especially, with the STM technology on the Canon 18-135mm lens. And, yes, Canon lenses have high resale value although I don't think you will sell it. It's a keeper!!!

Um, the dxo marks are higher on the ep5 on all accounts. Why not shoot with that camera? It's not as though it's a size/weight issue.
