Anyone contemplating buying one of these "decoy owls" need to check this out. While at the Honda Service department I took this pic. These decoys are for keeping pigeons away, this pigeon is demonstrating the effectiveness of these plastic owls.:)

Flickers were pecking on our house. A friend suggested drawing a raptor on paper and stapling it to the house.
The next flicker did a rapid U Turn. Problem solved.
Another suggestion--strips of tin foil.
