Nice bit of Urbex Andrew. I wish I had the buildings around here to do similar shots.
If you enjoy HDR urbex check out a pal of mine on flickr.
His user name is Solapi. An absolute master of HDR and the uncrowned king of urbex. He is a proper urbex guy him and his fellow fans break into old houses clinics hospital power stations etc on photographic expeditions.
He is Spanish so there is no shortage of old castes etc for him and his friend to target. I think you will enjoy his work

Yes, some wonderful stuff there, both subject matter and processing. I wouldn't mind an assistant like his too :-)

I love this one.

Yea I thought you may enjoy Oriols work. I met him on a website years ago when I was trying to learn HDR, Photomatix etc and contacted him to say basically " I love your work how can I learn etc and will you help"
He wrote tutorials for me put me on to Trey Ratcliff and whatever poor results I come up with today Oriol is responsible!! He is Spanish but writes absolutely perfect English and understands English type humour. We remain in contact via flickr or email every 4 to 6 months.
His lady is somewhat attractive I must admit. Not sure if she is wife or partner but a pretty permanent fixture.
His work flow is actually not complicated. He uses one of the Topaz filters after tone mapping and mixes the result with his underexposed image. I know at one time he was only ever using one lens, a Sigma 10 -20 mm. Whether he has changed equipment or workflow now Im not sure.

Billy, I am very interested in knowing more about this. Hopefully if my work load slows down soon I will be able to dig into it. Very interesting and I may pm you when I am ready to know more. Thanks for the post.

Excellent - HDR as it should be used in my opinion. (which doesn't count for anything)

Hey, you're in Australia so your opinion means a lot to me :-)
