Finally Got the Comet Love Joy w/ Tail

3 nights I've been at this and I finally got it with a Tail.
Both shots Nikon D600

Very well done Craig.
I was too lazy to chase it tonight and played with Orion and Jupiter with the new filter.

great photo Craig, with no trailing, what focal length did you use or tracker?

Hello Marc,
Thank you , I use a Celestron GT 2000 Drive with a bracket I made up.
The mount has a dovetail receiver and locking screw so it assembles in a New York minute.

Thank you very much Jim, I'll be out there tonight after those two also.
Good hunting, It will be between Aldebaran and Pleiades and a little to the west.
I used 150mm to locate then zoomed in to 550mm and the tail trails a good amount to the East.

Cotondog, thank you very much. Yes a lot of shoot and search, shoot and search. When I finally got it in a frame I was pretty excited, my first Comet photo.

No Cropping of either one.
A little Lightroom and Topaz to sharpen and Noise Reduction.
