Went out tonight to track down some mosquitoes. Taken of my finger at about 2:1. Had to kind of wait to they were on my feet/legs then persuade them that my hand would be a better meal.
The second photograph, viewed in the download format, is excellent.
Well taken.
Hope it did not bite you!
It had been sucking blood for about 10 sec at that point.
nice! i dont think i would let it bite me for a shot though.:-)
Great captures! I dislike these little buggers almost as mush as they love me. I'm so glad I will most likely not have the opportunity to photograph one around here where they are virtually nonexistent ;)
There is a limit to my dedication to the art of macro! You obviously do not suffer from the same restraint.

Very nice and sharp! That reminds me why I left Florida.
Really nice job. N.Z. I knew I didn't recognize that mosquito.
Good looking skeeter. Welcome to the forum and I look forward to future contributions.
Mossies here don't carry anything nasty, so it's just an itch and a bite mark for an hour or so.
