When the cat's away,.........................!!
OMG! I thought I'd never see sugar gliders again! My daughter brought 3 home from school, and, as I don't like to see animals caged, I turned my upstairs bathroom, which is as big as a small bedroom, into a jamboree for them with flannel blankets hung from one side of the room to another, hoola hoops, old bras for them to sleep in, boxes stacked on top of one another and covered with towels to make it easier for them to climb and hide, and more. AND, every night when I came home from work, I scrubbed the floor, the counters, and the wall. Cute little things. Never thought I'd like animals with snout-like noses, but I'm an animal lover, and, even tho' the kids never did bring home a snake, I guess I would fall in love even with a snake. Most people wouldn't suspect they are marsupials.
Actually these are Chinese dwarf Hamsters.
Pretty laid back compared to other types.
she puts them on her shirt and they just kind of hang out.
They were selling those sugar babies as pocket pets this past summer at a couple of feasts we went to.
Expensive.
people say they bark like a dog at night and keep you awake.
Is that true ?

I didn't know that hamsters had that snouty nose.
Our sugar gliders did not make any noise at night.
If you didn't pay hundreds of dollars for each one, then I believe you - they are not sugar gliders. I couldn't believe it when my daughter told me how they cost.
