Northern Flicker

I haven't seen many of the yellow shafted northern flickers posted lately. There has been a pair hanging around lately, but very camera shy. I finally got a few shots today through my dining room window. I got the male, but have yet to catch the female.

It is a really beautiful shot. I like the fence top as the lead in too. Post a good shot of the female should you get one.
