Where to find ?

Hi all, could someone tell me how to find the age of my second hand Canon 800mm lens. The serial number is 10583. I've tried various Canon sights, they tell me where to find the numbers on the lens, but not where to find the age of the lens on a Canon sight!
I'd be most grateful for some help!

W means manufactured 2008
06 means manufactured in June

Not sure if the 10490 means that it was made 93 lenses before yours.

Serial number 11689. is Code: UX0805
Utsunomiya 2009 August
The date code is: Z1002 and the serial number is: 11458. is an FD lens from October 1985
Is you 800mm FD or EF?
