It's freezing here in the Midwest so I get to play with my trains a little. To cold to fly RC planes so running the trains is the next best thing.

You must have a LOT of time on your hands, because this layout was not done in a couple of days. Looks amazing.

I went to a train exhibit from a model train club a couple of months ago. It was good, and well done but your is OUTSTANDING. It is far better than the one I saw. More realistic. And your photography is excellent.
Well done!

Thanks dgagnon. I started on this layout about 25 years ago over about a 12 year span. It's my third one and I still tinker around with it once in a while.

Well, thank you so much Indi, and for the three thumbs up. Before building
I watched a lot or tape I recorded on Channel TBS20 on building Layouts. That helped a lot on the construction.

It's actually the attention to detail realism I'm impressed with. Far better than that whole club did.

Those are really something. The modeling is terrific, but the background scenery is intriguing. Are the walls of your train room painted to look like distant mountain scenery? The shots make the background scenery seem real.

Thanks Anvil. The background is Foam board painted light blue with airbrushed clouds. The seams were removed in Photoshop. So, I did cheat a little.
