I have an older Kodak z712 that is not exactly a great camera, but i would like to utilize some features it has. I need to know if there is anyone in "hogland" who has some experience with one of these cameras. The particular feature I was interested in is exposure bracketing. Doesn't seem to work on this unit or I don't understand how to use it. As a sidenote, this particular camera failed right after purchase, was sent back to Kodak for repair,& since then appears to have lost a few brain cells.
Sorry infant help you, do you have a manual? Should be information there that could help you. ;)
The manual seems to be like many nowadays;lots of ideas, little helpful info. I either have a defective camera(altho other things work OK) or just bad info/lack of same.
That camera does not do auto bracketing. Use a tripod and manual mode and shoot several shots varying the shutter speed.

Also, with the trouble you've had, you might consider an upgrade to a newer camera that does have exposure bracketing.
I have other cameras, but just wanted to utilize the exposure bracketing feature on the Kodak,as my others do not use this feature. According to the manual, the feature exists.....false advertising???? Other than that,it takes OK pictures that are good enough for my purposes.
