America's first National River.
This is a pic of the Buffalo National River I took on an early morning fishing trip.
Nice......love the mist hanging over the river.

Like the smoke on the water
Ahh yes. Early morning fog makes for nice pictures, but hard on navigation up a river. It was rather cool that morning. We actually had on heavy jackets. But once the sun climbed over the ridge, the fog was gone and the fishing and temprature got hot.
Here's a pic of me with a fine example of the fishery from tht day.

My son took me fishing on the White Buffalo river. When I got back to Texas I told my brother that it was the best fishing ever ... Rainbow trout.
He burst my bubble very quickly when he said, "Yeah. I used to ride my bicycle out there and fish when we lived at Searcy."
Glad to hear you had a good time. I do believe that the White River near Searcy is too warm for trout. Lots of bass and catfish though.
