Beautiful Musk Lorikeet

the musk lorikeet is beautiful but rarely seen as it lives high in the tree tops and is some what noisy but shy , today was very hot here 44c so I put on the drippers for both the trees and the birds that don't like to come close to the house for the bird bath

thank you jwt , we have been trying to capture a good shot of these little birds for a while so to get them in our back yard was just a treat , if it had not been so hot they would never come down to the ground , water not food is the key in Australia
