Blonde deer

I'm not sure if this is a rarity but there is a blonde deer on the nature preserve I frequent. I was fortunate enough to photograph her next to a normal deer so you can see the stark contrast.

I've seen a lot of deer in my time, even albino deer, but never have I observed this color of white tail deer. Very interesting!

I have seen a white one and one that looked almost like a cow, spotted, but not that one that's new to me.

Good unusual capture. I have heard of Albino deer but not blonde. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Britain' Elizabethan buccaneer Sir Francis Drake plundered Spanish ships in his Golden Hind. Although named after a Greek myth, I think you have got a great image of one.

That's a new one on me too. Maybe the result of an albino & standard color deer? Someone out there may know how this color happened. I'd like to know.
