Problema with my D7100

Hi all, I just saw there is a problem with my D7100. There is a circle in the mid of the photos. I'll post a sample here. It is very evident when there is a bright backgound.
In there first you can see it in the second it seems 'hidden' by the background.

Can anyone tell me what it could be? I think it is sensor problem. I bought it used with one year guarantee.

Could be a burn on one of your shutter curtains, but didnt burn thoroughly. Check to see if it worsens with the mirror up and lots of light. In fact remove the lens to see if you can see it when the mirror is up, MUP command.

If this is true, how can it happen?

Do you get the spot with more than one lens? It looks like a water (oil) droplet on the rear element of a lens to me.

Must check because I'm away nows and only have one lens but, I'll check the lens even if it is new. It'a a Tamrom 18-270 PZ VC. Tomorrow will check if there is a droplet in the rear of the lens.

Just controlled. There is a hole on the curtain. How is it possible?

Anything at all is possible when you buy used. At least it came with a warranty as you stated above. Time to find out if that warranty is any good now.

Have you shot any pictures of the sun lately. The lens works just like a magnifying glass. I've seen burned curtains before. Either the shutter will need replaced or, at the very least, the burned curtain.

Hi. My name is Rick. I’m the owner and lead technician at Discount Camera Repair and a member in good standing here at the UHH. I’ve been doing repairs for other members here at greatly discounted rates and would be glad to help.

I'd be more than happy to repair the camera for you and keep the cost as low as possible. If you’re interested, please respond by private message or simply reply to this post.

Sure it is. All it takes is 2 jumbo jets and a freight train.
