Hi: Great winter scenes. Almost make me want to get back up to Canada. But we are enjoying a warm winter in Florida this year and my wife would not be very pleased.
I was evacuated from Manchester to the village of Hayfield on Sept 1st 1939. Are your pictures taken close to that village?

Hi Dick thanks for looking! Hayfield is in between Glossop and New mills , estimate about 34.0 miles from where I live . Haslingden is the town where I come from which is further North (east Lancashire ) .Funny enough both my Uncles were evacuated to Haslingden from Manchester 1939 Highfield house is where they lived for 3 years.Have a good new year Dave
