I am a seasoned senior trying to learn new tricks. I have been lurking here for some time, enjoying the many fantastic posts and constructive comments. I am very much an amateur and have been reluctant to post my pictures.
We had an unusual snow event on the 19th/20th of this month. I made a few shots on auto that some, who have no snow, may enjoy. This is my first post. Comments are welcome.

Welcome Old Bill.
Bad joke warning..... you've been warned...... ummm - what kind of seasoning do they use on seniors now-adays?
All kidding (sic) aside, I like the first picture best because of the hint of coming sunlight buried deep in the background.
I think all three show a good balance between foreground and background subjects. If I were to post process anything, it would be to remove the orange barrel (or whatever it is) next to the mailbox in #2.
And yes, being a skier up here in barren New England, I'm jealous!

I like number 2 also but i love the way the light shines on the trees in number three.
Bill, seasoned is what we are. Great having you here and your photos with the peeking sun are great.

Thanks for the welcome and comments.
Most of my peers in the area seem to season themselves with BenGay. I use a cocktail of supplements instead.
The orange thing near the mailbox is a VaTech flag on the post.
Should have cropped it out.
