It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived. --General Patton

Amen to that🇺🇸
I'll salute any day to those who gave the ultimate.
Have been to Arlington and it is a very humbling experience.
My father rests there now, and when my time comes, I too will rest there.
Laid 4 wreaths there last week.
thank you for the photo I have never been able to take one at Arlington--just can not seem for some reason to hold the camera steady
I also laid wreaths there last week. It is just amazing how many people come to volunteer . It is such a peaceful place.
Just remember god loved those solders thats why he took so many of them. I stand here today because of them. As a disabled vet there are times I feel guilty that I am still alive. May they all rest in peace.
A wonderful tribute to all our veterans. Part of the Wreaths across America. I'm sending a couple of shots from New Britain CT
Thank you for posting.

I've never been there but almost made it there in 1968.
Thank you to my fellow brothers who have risen to the occasion past, present and future. As I was told once after graduating USMC bootcamp, "You are special now, you have freely chosen to do what many would never do."
This applies to all of us, regardless of branch of service.

I do hope that the next generation coming of age realizes that places like Arlington (and other veterans cemeteries) are symbolic of what the real price of freedom really is, and cherish it as much as we have.
