This large John Deere machine needed a lane and a half and I had to pull off the road to let him by.
I decided to take the shot at the last minute but with the sun in the lens the photo was very dark. I was intent on salvaging the shot because it had potential for impact. After many adjustments, the final process was done with Topaz Simplify.

Was I successful? Your input is appreciated. Thank you.

That's a powerful picture, but I think I would have preferred to see it before Topaz.

Make lemonade from lemons! It has that "HDR look" but I think it has potential for an art print. Consider cropping out the mirror?

did some growing up time in Dakota, iowa, neb.
Clone out the mirror and your picture is perfect as posted for an art print.

Thank you for commenting Don. I discarded the pre Topaz version as it was not viable.

Thanks for your positive evaluation JD. I included the mirror as I felt it was an important part of the story line; I my take it out depending on the number of negative feedbacks.

So this photo brought back old souvenirs Oldtigger. :D

Thanks for your input. I felt that the mirror is a part of the story line and left it in. But so far it's 2 to 1 in favor of removing it.

I really like what you did to this photo! The effect and subject angle are very interesting. I wonder, since the sun distracts my eye from the machine, if you saturated the colors of the machine just a bit more, if the sun would not compete with the machine as the subject of the photo and the deeper color of the machine would hold my eye better. Congrats on a great job, though.

The perspective is super! Love the composition, would maybe like to see it a little darker, if able to retain some details. If you're up for it, maybe start a new topic in the post-processing forum and ask for natural and/or creative versions. It's a lot of fun to see what folks come up with :)
