Yesterday while I was shooting Bald Eagles I turned around and took this photo over a small portion of Lake Coeur d' Alene where the eagles like to dive for salmon.

Thank you, BassmanBruce. Yes, the water was warmer than the air for awhile until the air temperature rose a few degrees. The air temperature was below freezing that morning.

Thank you, Swamp-Cork. While I was waiting for an Eagle to appear, I always look around to see what other wildlife or scenic shot is available. We didn't have a large eagle turnout like last year, but we have a fair number here to photograph.

You have to be in the right place and time to get a good fog shot and I am not usually there.
