Hello everybody, my name is Araia. I have nikon d3200 with 18-55 lense, new one, and an altura photo professional (AP-N1001) speedlight. I need a good lense for portrait and landscape not so expensive. What do you suggest?
Thank you very much and Merry Christmas

that does not leave much to deal with,

I bought this lens couple years ago, it is a good lens for the money, check sigma and tamron they both have refurbished,

this is the only other lens close to what fits your criteria, a little more than $200.oo

With that budget, you won't get a lens to cover both landscape and portrait photography. Why not use your 18-55 for landscape and look at the Nikkor 50 f/1.8G, which is around $225. That will be equivalent to 75mm on your body. Wide angle lenses aren't good for portraits due to the distortion factor.

I agree with wolfman. The Nikor 50mm f/1.8G is a fine lens and you could use it for a walk around lens as well as portraits.

I agree. You might even find a 50mm f/1.8G refurbished or lightly used for even less. There is also a Nikon 50mm f/1.8D that will not autofocus on your camera. You want the 50mm f/1.8G AF-S. Check keh.com, B&H, and Adorama.

Bill has put you on the very best deal with his second post.
The refurbed Nikkor 50mm. Right now $160 + tax if any.
Direct from Nikon.

I bought a refurbed Wide Angle through Nikon. It, and Nikon's service, is superb.

Also, I found this in a used lens.

I would go with the EX, and not the Bargain lens.

I do not know if it would work with your camera.
The Nikkor refurbed will. I asked.

Welcome to UHH. The 50mm f/1.8 will serve you well. One you might consider, providing it falls within you budget, is the Nikon 18-200 f/3.5. This is one of my favorite lenses for my D7100. Good luck.

Adorama and B&H have the 50 mm f/1.8 Nikor lens at $104.95 currently. This lens will give you very pleasing Bokeh when you open it wide.
