Red Tail Hawk?

I think this is a Red Tail Hawk. My wife said there was a hawk on the backyard fence. I had to get my camera, change the lens and reset the stops. I was having problems resetting the camera in this hurried state and shot at 1/30 sec. through the kitchen window. My ISO was to low. Not as sharp as I would have liked.

This appears to be an immature female Cooper's hawk. There is a chance that it is an immature female Sharp-shinned hawk, but the head shading and tail banding says no. Definitely not a Red Tail hawk. For being in such a hurry, it is a great shot.

Good shot! The sharp-shinned or Coopers seem to no issue being up close and personal in neighborhoods. There was one at my apartment complex two years in a row, landed on cars, in front of entry doors :)

I am now convinced it is a Sharp-shinned Hawk. Because of the small head size. Thanks
