Diablo Pass Quartzsite Az.
Took these two day while out hunting Big Horn. As most know the desert is a pretty dull place to take pictures. The first was taken facing North then South. They are Panoramic's over looking the trail on the way up then the trail going down.
The best part of hunting Big Horn, with a camera you can shoot them as many times as you like, with a gun you are only allowed One in your life time. So if I manage to find them, I still have millions of shoots left.
Note. The internet is hard to come by out here so I many take awhile to to respond. In the mean time enjoy.
How about some closeup on the vegetation.

I have to chuckle. The Teddy Bear Cactus can seem to be able to leap about two feet. Thats the Cactus that looks all fuzzy, that fuzz is a barb that will work it's way threw leather shoes. Real painful to pull out. LOL
I do have some pretty good shoots of some cactus in bloom, but right now things are pretty brown. In a few months with more sun light and warm temps they'll start to green up and come to life. If you wish I can post a few from the past tomorrow evening.
What? You found a place near Quartzsite with no RVs?

All you need is an off road machine, and the RVs soon fad in the distance.

The south looking shot certainly has more interest for me.

The lens doesn't really capture it as actually being there. Thank you for your comment. Glad you found it of interest. Bill
