I discovered today that the versions of PSE sold in different countries, even if they have the same version number, may not have all the same features.

If you go to File->New->Blank File,
in the pop-up dialog box, under Preset, you will find:
Clipboard
Default Photoshop Elements Size
US Paper
International Paper
Photo
Scrapbooking
Web
Mobile & Devices
Film & Video
Custom
IF you bought your version the States.
IF however, you live in Canada, "Scrapbooking" is missing from that list. Not a big deal, as I have a few blank files of scrapbook page sizes "on hand".
It makes me wonder what other features are different, and if these different features sometimes are the reason that we seem to be talking at cross-purposes when trying to help someone else with a PP problem in PSE.
Also wonder if there are this kind of differences in PS and/or LR.

I have often been puzzled when I see users have chosen "Scrapbooking".

I do know that their are differences in Bridge and Photoshop menus, between Australian and UK versions, caused a minor feud between two of us before we discovered that Ozzie menus and UK menus were not the same.

East is East, West is West... I watched a Brit You Tube IR conversion of a Panasonic TZ-30 which is "the same" as ZS-20. Easy conversion... Oh,Oh, not so, the internals were significantly different. Some screws were drilled to remove the Phillips X,,,, what a headache... a 30min job took 4 hrs and required using a drill and cutter to remove the tamper proof screws.

Point being... yep Euro software may well differ from USA. Some areas in the USA are test market areas for say.. a food product. Same may be the case with software or cameras.

As far as I know, Canada has never been part of Europe.
While you check on where Canada is, also pay attention to the wind directions: Your opening phrase should read, "North is North and South is South."

The version I was trying to help this girl with, is version 12, the same one I use. After I posted here, I also found that this scrapbooking stuff is included in the Canadian version 13.
Wonder if Adobe is trying to start the war of 1812 all over again.....

Morning Star: Canada is only located north of USA, but after contacting the British Embassy I was reassured that Canada is considered part of Europe as are the Falcon(Malvinas) Islands...

We the USA actually claim Canada much as the Argentinians claim Malvinas Islands. 1812, are you referring to that little problem near lake Erie? As I understand no surrender documents were ever signed and we are much like N&S Korea.
There are many of us here in America.. the True Americas, who take June 18 off of work to honor our 1812-14 fallen. It is the 2nd war of independence from the Ol' Gal, your Queen!!

Someone may consider it, but that doesn't make it so. The British-North America Act is no longer valid in Canada. The Canada Act of 1982 has brought all that legislature home and Canada is independent. The only remaining tie is that Queen Elizabeth is Queen of Canada and provides the "pomp and ceremony" occasionally herself, quite often through her representatives the Governor General for all of Canada or Lieutenants Governor in the Provinces.

No surrender documents may have been signed, neither did "We the USA" manage to invade and take over (part of) Canada. This makes for a bit of interesting reading:

We, the Canadians (and although I am import, I AM a proud Canadian) take November 11 off work to honour not only the fallen of 1812-1815 (June 18, 1812 – February 18, 1815), but the fallen of ALL wars, worldwide.
