Wow......what a great experience of photographing the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, California. We were guided by a dossant to several wharehouses of trains and trollies that are being restored. The nostalgic feeling engulfed me as I took these photos. Please download these photos. I think you will be rewarded! Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed our museum. I am a member of the operations department.
Data shows you were there today, correct? If you come on a weekend things will be running. If you borrow a little one and come back on the 20th or 21st the Train to Santa's Workshop will be pulled by our steam engine. Last weekend and this coming weekend it is a diesel. I worked last weekend and will work the night shift on 20/21. Trains to Santa at 11, 1, 3, 5:30 & 7. This weekend I may be there with my cameras just to take pictures. There is a lot more going on and to see than just the Santa Train. On weekends it takes at least 2-3 hours to see everything.
www.oerm.org and look under upcoming events for special activities.

Robert, that is soooooo very cool that you are a member of the operations department there at the museum. Thanks for all the info that you shared with me and the rest of the UHH members. You live in Corona so it's not to long of a drive for you. Thanks for loving trains and being a volunteer to help out with the operations department. Since you work there, I think you should share with the other UHH members your photos of the place.

I have put up a few from time to time, and have others I can post. This weekend I am not working the Santa Train but will probably go out one day to photograph the activities. The 20/21 I am on night shift (4-8:30PM) and plan to go a couple of hours early to get shots of the Santa activities with the steam engine. (Oh, Santa is the only time we run a night shift, 9-5 is the regular time so we can see to put the units away.)
