I have it, I use it, I like it very much. This lens seems to be used mainly for landscapes, but it excels at close in nature shots. It requires time and effort to learn, but the results are well worth the time and expense. Vignetting can be a problem wide open, so I close it down or drop the ISO and the problem disappears. Great glass.

Hi David, Canon makes a few 24mm lenses. Which one do you have?

If you're asking about the EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM, it's a great little lens. At $149 USD, it's worth every penny (probably a few more).

My error. I forgot the new 24mm. with STM. Looks to be a nice addition to the EOS lens line-up.
