Number 2. The framing the color boost make the shot pop. It may be me but it background were to be "softened" some. May be wrong word for it. Contrast cat and background more.

I favor #2 for the contrast, color and clarity, the vignetting adds to the effect. Been to Kenya 12 times myself and I have yet to see one of these kitties. They're pretty elusive, so just the fact you got an image of one at all blows me away. Was it in the wild?

Sorry for the delayed response. Still not secure with everything on the website. Indeed it was in the wild--he/she posed for us for at least 10 photographic moments. Thrilling!!

I like 2 more, it has more color and contrast and an interesting frame.

Prefer #2 because the colors are more intense. I don't think it has anything to do with the background. Picture #1 colors appear on my monitor to be somewhat faded.
