Photography Life, Thom Hogan and some other sites have been discussing this program lately.

Anyone have experience with it?

Sounds interesting. But, me thinks (I ain't been know for that), this is more of a pro level utility. I'm not sure how much use this would be for a non-professional or even an advanced non-professional.

Interesting in reading what others think about it.

Blil,, If you are looking for an image viewer, with editing capabilities, take a look at FastStone, which is free. Written by a member of our camera club it is very good and it is free. Gary http://faststone.org/index.htm

If I'm reading UHH threads correctly, FS works in Windows only unless I start using Parallels on my Mac. Is this right?

Bill, I know it is Windows based, do not know about Parallels. Gary

Just bought and downloaded FRV yesterday. In a couple of hours I went through a thousand pics rejected about 1/3 as out of focus or not worth saving for other reasons. (FRV saves rejected photos in a "_Rejected" folder.) Much simpler and faster than doing the same in LR. I haven't used 90% of the capability of FRV yet but the 10% I have used was worth the price.

What operating system do you use? How did FRV integrate into your LR workflow?

Please disregard the questions I had in the previous post, found the answers I needed. Thanks for your letting me know your experience with this program.

I can't say I have much experience with it. I tried it out and it has some nice features like flagging focus areas. I can see where it might be useful but I haven't done any shooting since I downloaded it so I can't comment on its utility in my workflow.
