Al Sharpton is the model of Racial Acceptance in America

I thought that would get your attention. I would just like to find out what people on both sides of the political spectrum think of Al Sharpton and why. The President seems to continue to put a lot of trust into Al's opinion and presence and even though I try to look at it with an open mind, I just do not understand why.

Was, is, and always will be a self serving son of a bitch. He cares nothing for black americans other than to use them to further whatever his agenda is.

His 'agenda', is his back pocket. If he isn't stirring the pot, he has no revenue stream.

He's a jumped-up little twit whose hatred of whites is only bested by his greed for an easy buck. He is self-centered and hypocritical as he does not have our black-community's interests at heart. He needs to do some long, hard prison-time and never see daylight again.

Sharpton is a racist hate-mongering sanctimonious profiteer. He has been responsible for violence caused by his hate-mongering and dishonesty. One example was his actions during the Tawana Brawley fraud in which Sharpton teamed with Jesse Jackson to stir up racial hatred and violence. The perpetrators knew from the beginning that the entire "case" was a fraud. Sharpton and Jackson were taped in phone conversations acknowledging that the whole matter was a fraud, and cackling that (their own violence-mongering) would make them "the biggest niggahs in New York."
Another noted matter in which both Sharpton and Jackson were inciting racial violence and hatred was the "beltway sniper," a series of shooting attacks around the Washington DC beltway highways. Sharpton characterized the shooter as a "redneck racist cracker" and accused the police of being racist and not seeking the shooter because most of the victims were black. As it turned out, Sharpton was not only racist in his accusations but wildly wrong. The "snipers" turned out to be a pair of homosexual African-American Muslims, who were doing the killing as a series of "lone wolf" Islamic Jihad attacks.
