Was Wondering.....
Was thinking about trading a 18-55 kit lens and a Sigma 18-250
for a Tamron 16-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD Zoom Lens...and dose any one have this lens and if so how do you like it and is it a sharp one??...I have a Nikon d5100.... Thank You all your imput.... Have an Awsome Day....:)
I've had several superzoom lenses and I've been using the Tamron 16-300 VC PZD for about a month. I like the 2mm on the wide side. The 50mm on the long side compared to your 18-250 is no big deal. I like that it has no lens creep. All in all I rate the 16-300 as an average performer for a superzoom.
In general, I'd recommend it, but if you're happy with your Sigma, I recommend keeping it. That said, if you are having a strong GAS attack, it is a nice lens.

I'll add, antiacid pills don't help with GAS......

I have this lens and really like it. I am a hobbyist with limited income, and therefore am not familiar with more expensive lenses. It is sharp enough for my purposes, but I have, of course, seen much sharper images taken with very expensive lenses. I am very satisfied with my 16-300 used with my D3200.
Anyone not wanting their 18-250/270 zoom any make for a Nikon mount please make it a Christmas Gift to me. LOL
