Very Small Snowflake

I took about 30 photos of snowflakes today and the smallest, about 1 mm in length, was the clearest.

My understanding is that all snowflakes are 6-pointed asymmetrical creations (crystals). Then there is round snow. That's a whole different explanation.

Sleet is more like freezing rain. If I remember, I'll take a photo of round snow when it occurs and post it.
