Does anyone have a recommendation for a lab you've used for this size print - 30x40? I've never done one this big and it's for a client. Thanks!

Black River Imaging, they're not cheap but the quality is worth it.

Thanks. That's one I've heard of but couldn't remember.

I use a smaller lab in Northern CA called Laserlight - their work is outstanding and I've found their aluminum prints to be superior to Bay and Miller as well. They're at http://laserlightprints.com

And I have had 30x40 prints made by them - excellent output

OMG, $120 for 30x40 lustre print! I didn't charge them enough for that. I was figuring $50-$60. Thanks though. Would love to try the aluminum for something smaller.

Thanks. Will check out. Packaging not an issue - coming back to me to frame and then deliver. I've learned that 30x40 is too big to ship. I'm talking as framed piece, not as print. I've ordered the frame for it in pieces but can't have glass, plexiglass or backer board, matting etc shipped so must find locally.

Duggal in NYC... what museums and the big guys use for digital, and still process pro film ( 2.25, 4.24, 8x10, etc. ) .... you won't find a standard price sheet... but won't receive a standard piece either.

Probably not for this project, but if ever you have something truly special.... ;)

Thank you all for your input. The final size is actually going to be 25x25 in a 30x30 frame. I cropped in close to the family and still have an issue or two that I need help with so I'm going to post two photos to the post processing section of the site to see if anyone can help me before I order the print. One issue is a spot of glare on the framed photo hanging above them and the other is an sofa arm cover partially hanging off the sofa. They've ordered the prints without asking for those things to be fixed but I HATE putting them out that way. I've gotten used to shooting on backdrops and forgot to look out for issues like this when shooting on location. The other reason I cropped the whole family to 25x25 is that I don't have enough pixels for the 30x40 AND MY Novatron light case ended up IN the shot and I can't clone it out. Grrrrrr. I'm embarrassed about all these items for sure but figured if I shared I might help someone else avoid them.

I use Adorama and right now, they have a great deal going...% off, etc. They have done excellent work for me over the past two years and the product arrives so well protected I think it could withstand being run-over! (Maybe a slight exaggeration...)

Good to know but they don't offer 25x25 and I've already ordered the framing materials. I would have saved substantially by using them according to their 24x24 price.
